The William P. Didusch Center for Urologic History is a Museum, Archive and Library located within the American Urological Association (AUA) Headquarters. Every year in the Science and Technology Hall at the AUA’s Annual Meeting, the Didusch Center presents an industry-supported History Exhibit on some aspect of the history of medicine, urology in particular. The goal of the History Exhibit is to stimulate critical thinking and offer young urologists an understanding of the medical history and ethics that support their practice. It is well-attended by urology practitioners young and old, as well as industry personnel and convention center staff.
The theme of the exhibit is determined by member surveys, the AUA History Committee and Historian, and relevance to urology today. The exhibit is curated by a topic-specialist annual meeting curator or curatorial group, who involve their colleagues and trainees in creation of the exhibit and the accompanying brochure. It is a grassroots effort led by passionate and committed individuals.
In addition to a hugely popular Museum Store that sells urologic novelties, the History Exhibit includes 10-12 talks at the booth given by specialists in the theme. That theme is likewise reflected in the abstract-driven AUA Forum on the History of Urology, a well-attended staple at the AUA Annual Meeting since 1965. Sponsorship opportunities include the sponsor’s booth placed near the History Booth, recognition on the booth panels, recognition on all print and digital promotion of the booth, and a full-page ad within the booth brochure.

Park bench advertising offers a unique opportunity to showcase your brand in a relaxed, high-impact setting. Attendees often seek moments of respite, making benches the perfect platform for your message to shine in the AUA Square.
