The three-day event expands and strengthens urology’s credible and longstanding work with lawmakers on Capitol Hill, government agencies and state legislatures by cultivating and empowering specialty- specific advocates to promote health policy initiatives that benefit their community.

This is the seventh annual translational research meeting co-sponsored by the American Urological Association and the Johns Hopkins Greenberg Bladder Cancer Institute. It will be a two-day, in-person symposium on the topic “Integrating Biomarkers in Clinical Trials,” and will focus on how to do clinical trials in an independent, community, or private practice setting. This symposium will also help residents understand there is opportunity to grow collaborative relationships among independent, community, or private practices.
