The American Urological Association will host its Annual Urology Advocacy Summit – an innovative symposium that unites all facets of the urology community including urologists, researchers, advanced practice providers and patients.
The three-day event expands and strengthens urology’s credible and longstanding work with lawmakers on Capitol Hill, government agencies and state legislatures by cultivating and empowering specialty- specific advocates to promote health policy initiatives that benefit their community. The 2025 Summit will expand patient involvement allowing policymakers to hear from both physician and patient constituents to maximize impact on Capitol Hill.
New for 2026! Held the day before the AUA Summit, the Patient Advocacy Connections Program (PACP) is an event designed to expand, strengthen, and unify the voice of urologic patients. The day-long, in-person event brings together patient advocacy organizations, patients and care partners, and other leaders in healthcare policy for patient-centered advocacy and lobbying in preparation to hit the Hill. PACP participants will then join physicians at the AUA Summit, a program that includes in-person programming and a day of Capitol Hill meetings.
