Publications Place will be an interactive space for meeting attendees to explore the current AUA publications and learn all the details about scholarly publishing. The AUA publications staff and Editorial Board will be onsite to provide education on career advancement opportunities through publishing, reviewing, and being engaged in the scholarly publishing space. Lectures from editorial leadership on how to get published, how to use social media successfully to promote one’s own work, how to be a top peer reviewer, DEI efforts within the AUA publications, and related topics.

One-on-one publishing-related mentorship opportunities with Editorial Board members.
“Office Hours” with Editorial Board members throughout the day.
A podcast recording space will also be set up within Publications Place and will offer daily recordings on the AUANews Inside Tract channel. This entire area will be an inviting “hot spot” destination for meeting attendees!

New this year, the Device Tech Talk stage is the premiere location to showcase your products to attendees in the Science & Technology Hall. Sponsoring companies will have the stage for 20 minutes to promote their product and an additional 5 minutes for audience Q&A. Talks will run daily 10 am - noon and 1 - 3 pm for a total of 24 available timeslots. Companies are limited to two timeslots per day.
Company logo and talk title will be displayed on a digital screen on the perimeter of the booth during your timeslot.
The talk title, speaker(s) name(s) and sponsoring company’s name will be listed in the industry sponsored programming section of the Meeting Program as well as in the Daily Schedule and Tomorrow’s Education Today Emails.
The stage includes two large presentation monitors, and an AV technician will be onsite to preload presentations should you choose to use the monitors.
